Tim, if you are going to have 16 separate sforzando players you may want to consider one of these free sfz/sf2 players that can have 16 different sounds (multitimbral) playing at the same time. Just load 16 different sfz/sf2 patches into them:

If you are working with only sf2s then this soundfont bank manager will let you pick individual sf2s from one bank and copy them into another bank, even a custom bank that you are making:

Note there are a lot of free sf2 players out there so just google/bing for them.

Personally if I were going to use sf2 sounds I would use a sf2 player and not a sfz player as the sound will be the same in both. I would use a sfz player for only sfz sounds. YMMV.
