The noise is almost certainly a different issue. Perhaps the beta driver doesn't work for you; that happened to me when I experimented because of crackles and pops. Some more questions: is your Focusrite a 2nd generation unit, and what happened with the original driver? Could you describe the noise you hear with more detail? For example, in my case it was a loud click at the start of each file (turned out to be a sample rate mismatch). BIAB 2026 Win Audiophile. Software: Fender Studio One 8, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6, Song Master Pro, Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Fender Quantom HD8 & Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors.
