a very legit question ;-)
I'll say this on a personal note, because I cannot speak for Anne-Marie:

-the Dutch language has a lot of harsh sounds in it
-globally nobody understands a single word you're singing
-it is not very commercial
-I really love the English language, it has way more subtle words to express feelings, especially in songs.
-my 'computer life' is completely in English. I have an English Windows version, and all the rest of my software is in English. Especially my speech recognition software, which I use every single minute (English speech recognition works way better than Dutch speech recognition).

Does that clarify things a little?
