Ya wanna see exacting tempos, run a wav file thru the ACW and tell it to find the bars. Then look at the tempo map!

I agree that 140 would be a 'better' tempo to work with, but have also worked with guys that insisted on exact odd numbers too. Barry is one of those who has no qualms about odd numbers.
I like easy math for figuring out delays, reverbs, etc, so I like working with even numbers.
Remember 60,000 divided by tempo is MS for each beat, so working with odd numbers, then trying to divide it in half so the delay hits on the eighth note, and well you can see how even would be easier.. unless you have a calculator handy.
