At the very bottom of the Edit window, far right, it says Delete Post (as long as, like edit, it's within about one day). Are you saying an intervening post makes that not available?
That was my hypothesis, yes, right until you just told me I had to get into the edit mode first - which to me is equally stupid as long as the post is your own.
But thanks for saving me further aggravations about this, now I know how to do it.
