Its not a movie that I know, but I did a bit of research. The movie is supposedly based on a village in south Wales called Tafs Well and the nearby Garth Mountain - if that is so, then it is some 90 miles from me. The movie was apparently shot in north Wales at a place called Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant and that is some 40 miles away. I suppose in Canadian terms both would count as near; I live in England and Wales is another country.
