This is an early effort, so I don't have any file info, but I remember I started with a guitar track (my trusty 1968 Guild F30) and built some synths over it. Dedicated to Penelope on our 40th Anniversary coming up on Jan 25th. First of all, Happy Anniversary to you both for January!
Well, you already know I'm a great fan of your vocals, but that has to be about the best I've ever heard you sing. I can't fault it in any way.
And what about that song! So moving, so beautiful. Penelope must be thrilled.
My wife has just said what an old romantic you are and why don't I write things like that. Hey ho...
You're gonna find it hard to follow that amazing track.

I love the way your voice soars on those beautifully held notes
( I thought I was listening to Burton Cummings), and the song is simply lovely. The synths are a nice backdrop...( could have been strings?) but really the song is so good it doesn`t need more sweetness added.
Very enjoyable.

ROG, Thanks for the kind words. It's funny- I actually got offered a contract on this song from a producer in Nashville (Jim Pierce). I was thrilled. Then, I took it to an entertainment attorney in Miami to have it checked out. The attorney told me if I signed the contract I would be giving the rights away for $50.  I didn't sign.
