How do I put this in the "Drop Box"? Never done this before. You will have to walk me through it. If you can give me instructions on how to do this, I will give you the files so you can research this.

Sorry Noel I got your name wrong. I am embarrassed, Next time we talk on here I will know how to address you. I was just excited that I figured this all out with your help. Maybe they can make a patch, or a fix to this, just in case this is happening to someone else.

I am glad to figure this out with the help of Noel. But here is another quick thought. If you need a tempo map in your song because of the changing tempo throughout the song, what you can do is this.

1: Put the tempo map in it where you need to.

2: download your files into your DAW, or record them on an outside unit. Mine is an Mr8 HD/CD

3: record your vocal with the different tempo changes on that outside unit.

4: then use an outside vocal harmonizer like I have. I have a voice live play that I use sometimes. This will help you to complete your song.

If you can only do this in a DAW, make all the changes that are necessary including the tempo map and download all your mixes, or record your creation with the internal sound-card, and import that into your DAW. You will have less control over the instruments once the instrumental is mixed, but then you can mix your vocal into your creation.

This is just a few thoughts that I had to sidestep the problem if it is necessary to have those tempo changes in you song.

Bob,

I don't mind being called Noah at all smile It sounded quite distinguished.

In relation to Dropbox, don't worry. Now that I know that the tempo map was the problem, as you can see by the below post to Peter Gannon, I've re-created the problem using a file with a tempo map. I'll send that across to him.

Thanks again for your help with this. It's been a team effort.

All the best
Noel/Noah smile

Thanks for that report. It is helpful to know that tempo changes are causing the issue. It would be helpful to have a copy of the sgu and wav (sent as a Dropbox link) sent to support@pgmusic.com

Peter,

I've re-created Bob's error by constructing a tempo map for the tutorial "Listen.MGU" (see image below). I've sent a Dropbox link to Support and have included the URL of this thread.

Noel

Trapper - just create an account on www.dropbox.com, upload your file, and post the share link to the file.

Once you get to the site, you'll see it's pretty self-explanatory.
