OP Robertkc Veteran Joined: Jun 2016 Posts: 3,357	If My last song post of the year goes out with a big Thank You! to those who have taken the time to listen and/or give feedback to my creations this year - you have rescued me from trying to figure out if my stuff is working from the squawks of the birds around the house. This song was a kind of exercise I did when first starting to write; take the chords of I song I liked, ( in this case the late, great John Martyn`s May You Never ), write my own lyrics, keeping the feel of the song that inspired them... and see where it went. Key=D , Tempo 112, Length (m:s)=3:38 2 bar intro, 96 bar chorus, from bar 3 to bar 98. Repeat x1 chorus No Melody No Soloist track. Both songs are interesting and unusual. I preferred your song over his. Enjoyed my listen. I`m not entirely sure I used the same chords as on the JM song... I didn`t know very many when I tried to work them out! Robert
