Caaron, The below pdfs might give some readers of this thread an insight into how I go about 'studying the greats'. Recently, I looked at Ira Gershwin's lyrics for "I Got Rhythm" and used the details I obtained to create a song of my own. (It might be easiest to right-click and use 'save link' to save the pdfs.)
