I use the "Hold Chord" command (e.g. C...) at the end of many songs followed by say A. to mute everything and it has always worked as expected until 2017. It now seems that Real Drums do not always stop playing especially if I have extra bars beyond the A. Many songs I have played for years now keep playing the Real drums passed the C... right to the last bar.
I can solve the problem by removing the blank extra bars and changing the bar count to suite.
Has something changed for 2017?

Tony,
This could be a development hiccup because there was a post not too long ago that found that using when using .p, the Piano track was not excluded. This sounds like it might be related.
Have you tried build 456 to see if the problem has been corrected in the latest update?

Tony, I remember the case Noel mentioned but no, there was no change intended for version 2017. I'm not having that problem, so it might be something related to the particular RealDrum in your song. Freeze the song, and email it to support@pgmusic.com and reference this thread.

Thanks for the response. I will see if I can work it out myself for now. I have established that it is not related to any particular RealDrums and sometimes happens when I don't have any extra bars after the "all instrument rest" command. So far it seems random. Tony

Thanks for the response. I will see if I can work it out myself for now. I have established that it is not related to any particular RealDrums and sometimes happens when I don't have any extra bars after the "all instrument rest" command. So far it seems random. Tony I cannot work out what is happening so have sent a typical song file to tech support as Matt suggested. It happens with 2017/456, with any RealDrum track, on two computers and with virtually every song that has a RealDrum track and extra bars after the Hold/Rest ending described above. I can make everything normal by removing the extra bars and it doesn't return if I add the bars back again. The problem is I have hundreds of songs with this ending and extra bars. Does no-one else use this ending, I thought it was common? Tony
