I've always considered myself a "Gibson" man, but recently, (a few years ago) I picked up a Fender Tele..... and while I love the fat, thick, tone of a cranked up Gibson, the Tele also has a classic sound that lends itself well to a nice touch of overdrive and still retains that classic brittle clean Tele sound.

The words in this are dead on target. Nicely written and done.


Thanks, Herb. We've got at least one Gibson lying around here...a Lucille, I believe. Nice fat tones out of that one.
