What am I missing? The Mega Pak is cheaper but ships on 6 DVDs vs. 2 for the Plus Pak.
Also, I assume most of us have one or maybe 2 genres that we consider "home". Most BIAB packages includes tons of styles and real tracks in genres that we'll NEVER use. It's almost like bloatware! The cost of buying RealTracks a la carte is prohibitive. I get the marketing strategy. But I can't be the only one frustrated by it. I'd gladly pay more for premium packages if there was a way to weed out genres that are irrelevant to me. Has anyone come up with a strategy to deal with this???

I love the versatility of having RT's in all the different genres - it's a creative rush to find an RT that fits something I'm doing from a genre that I'd never have thought of using in a song until I tried it. And I can also try a totally different genre just to stretch and get outside my box. For me, that's a huge part of the fun. So I don't share that frustration - sorry.

You need to talk to PG Music staff about this. Live Chat would be the quickest way. The PlusPak is a special upgrade option for those who own the 2016 UltraPlusPak or EverythingPak.
I fully agree with the others, having all RTs is great. That said,though, I don't think the PlusPak will work in your situation (unless I've interpreted it wrongly). Hence the suggestion to contact PG Music.

The PlusPak is only the additional files necessary to bring an already installed BIAB2016 up to speed with the latest content; whereas the MegaPak is designed to be an initial purchase with a sampling of RealTracks/RealDrums/Styles/etc to get you up and running with a fair amount of content to get some work done. That's the difference between 6 vs 2 disks.
