This may be user error but here goes ...

Midi file with 2 tracks imported into Realband.

VSTi on both tracks is "Play" which is for EWQL orchestral sounds. Loads without a problem and playback works great.

When I come to render to a wave file, Realband seems to attempt to reload the VSTi whilst rendering in the background. As the instruments take a little while to reload, the resultant wave file is being written as a flat line and therefore silent as it is not triggering any sound from the VSTi as it's reloading.

I don't know why Realband is trying to reload the VSTi when it is already there and working.

I have tried this using both the 32 and 64 (Jbridged) version of Play and it produces the same behavoiur.

I have used a different VSTi and that renders fine except it loads a lot quicker so might be one step ahead of the rendering process. This doesn't happen in BIAB so so wondered if there's a glitch in Realband.

Has anyone else come across this at all ?

I'll try the reset and reboot to see if this makes any difference. I can't see anything in the preferences that might drive this behaviour.

Cheers.
Mike.
