Great.
In case it helps, there have been a couple of changes about this in recent years. First, when you do a Return to Factory Settings, it asks if you want to save first, and that's a good idea to do so. Second, and this is new this year at my suggestion, it can remember (checkbox) where the RealTracks and RealDrums are, so doing the Return to Factory Settings isn't as annoying to do. [You mentioned doing the process all over again].
Going back many many years (decades?) I used to keep a text file of all the changes I made to the settings. Now, there are really very few and I don't do that anymore.
