I'm working toward my second $million, I've given up on my first! OK Don, I will let you in on how to make a million bucks as a musician if you promise to not pass this on. Marry a girl that has 2 million!
My wife had her driving test today.
She got 8 out of 10.
The other 2 jumped out of the way!

Anybody here ever used Skype to co-write?
Josie, I tried real time collabing on Skype with another Brit forumate but it introduced too much delay to be practical. I'm wondering if a screen-sharing app would allow two users to work simultaneously in BIAB. That would be awesome! A now defunct site that Mac and I frequented (collaboration.com) was designed for that exact purpose. I haven't kept current but I'm sure that such sites exist. I THINK BIAB allows collabing on a shared screen. Not certain though.

We've done 60+ collabs via the users forum. They include co-writes, vocal tracks, and instrumental tracks. Why? Siimple...it's fun! And we have learned a heckuva lot about song writing, mixing and mastering from folks who have prodigious skills in those areas. For us here in middle GA USA the opportunity to be able to work with such folks is priceless.
And zero commercial aspirations just add to the fun factor!

Just noticed my name cropping up here a few times and thought I'd make an appearance.
Eddie, yeah! We started supplying BVs to Eddie before collaborating became the norm around here - it was actually nearer five years ago Eddie! I remember people actually asking us how we swapped the files. From there it just expanded and it's been great experience for our budding session musicians and I'm still in touch with Eddie, who I now regard as a good friend. (I think I owe you an email, Eddie!)
Talking of making friends, I'm honoured to count Don Gaynor as a friend and an inspiration, having worked with him on a number of projects now. What a great guy!
And, of course, not forgetting Janice and Bud. What a privilege to have Janice sing on one of my songs and so beautifully recorded by Bud.
Yeah, for me it's all about having fun and meeting some really great people.
This is a really good place.
