I've used all kinds of head worn microphones. Countryman down to very budget minded mics from Samson and Nady. Galaxy Audio has a pretty full lineup and won't break the bank. Recent Samson models have a nice adjustability for fitting the ear. Most of those that I'm familiar with I've used with wireless transmitters but nearly all of them are also available with xlr connections as well, but make sure there is a way to clip the cable to yourself for a wired connection.
