Matt Finley Veteran Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 27,034 Hudson Valley & Lake George NY	Eddie, if it helps, I learned to play by ear as I was also coming up through the band program where reading was essential. Although I've played in more bands and orchestras than I can count, I would still rather play by ear. I'm just glad I can read, too. BIAB 2025 Win Audiophile. Software: Studio One 7 Pro, Swam horns, Acoustica-7, Notion 6, Song Master Pro, Win 11 Home. Hardware: Intel i9, 32 Gb; Roland Integra-7, Presonus 192 & Faderport 8, Royer 121, Adam Sub8 & Neumann 120 monitors.
