(snip ...) I just found this, and it is a time saver! But if you are manually removing reverb & panning to center, don't forget to also zero the Tone Control if you want full control in your DAW. If I don't care for the "natural" sound of an instrument track but otherwise like the performance I'll tweak the tone control prior to export. It defaults to zero so there is no need to remember if you haven't used the tone control feature.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
