I proceeded with a slightly different approach just now after reading your post.
I had around 6 spare G on my 'c' drive and around 13 G on my USB key drive.

BIAB installed on these two different locations with the following final message:

"Setup encountered issues with:
loops2, hiq_instr, Real Pro 1,2,3, Real Trak Mega 4,5,6
(In other words it didn't install any of them)
You could run Setup again or run the installer manually from the installation folder."

Why it chose not to install those particular parts I have no idea.
At the end of installation there was still 7G of space left on the USB drive.
