Avec cette explication, que je travaille en ce moment avec un thème de jazz qui reste binaire, en 3/4 et 4/4 ! il s'agit du thème joué notamment par Bill Evans, "How my heart sings" :
Un temps binaire est un temps divisible en deux parties égales. Un temps ternaire est un temps divisible en trois parties égales.
Temps ternaire = rythme ternaire.
Donc, un temps représenté par une valeur simple, comme une noire est binaire c'est à dire, divisible en deux croches. Et un temps représenté par une noire pointée (donc divisible en 3 croches) est ternaire par exemple, le 6/8, le 9/8 et le 12/8 comme on le rencontre dans Biab, Peux tu préciser ta question... et les réponses ne vont pas tarder!! Je te remercie pour ton méssage, pour info je sait ce qu'ai un rythme binaire et ternaire je vais essayer d'être plus clair par exemple , il y a un rythme appelé _FESTRIO.STY. Festejo péruvienne Rhythm Trio la grille d'accord indiqueque le style et en 4/4 temps et après analyse du rhythme on se rend compte qu'il est en 6/8 et pour des raisons d'arrangements je voudrais être en mesure de le convertir en 3/4 Afin de pouvoir mettre par exemple 3 accords plaqués dans une cellule (voir la grille ci-dessous) et pouvoir également généré des réaltracks en 3/4.

Bonjour Claodio, Merci d'avoir mentionné le rythme Festejo; Je ne connaissais pas. Je m'y suis (un peu) intéressé, et de ce que je comprends à travers les exemples du net, c'est qu'il s'écrit souvent en 12/8, même si The Garland Handbook of Latin American Music, explique que la forme musical la plus populaire afro-péruvienne, le festejo (p. 480) se joue en 6/8... En revanche, et j'ai bien noté que tu fais la différence entre le binaire et le ternaire, je ne comprends pas comment tu veux interpréter un rythme à deux temps ternaire (6/8) comme un rythme à trois temps binaire (3/4)?
Cela dit, avec la touche "F5", voir l'image, si tu mets un "3" comme je l'ai fait dans la case "# temps pour la mesure" ta mesure sera en 3/4, si on met un "2", la mesure sera en 2/4, etc. Ensuite, il faut choisir, voire adapter un style en 6/8, 12/8 ou 9/8...ou 2/4, 3/4, 4/4...et BIAB devient de plus en plus musical...dans son expression!
