Another option (in RealBand and PowerTracks) is to RIGHT click on one of the notes (as you see in VideoTracks image) and while continuing to hold the mouse down, drag the duration to the right to increase the duration, or left to decrease it. Drag it right up next to the following note and you'll get nice legato.
While not related to note length, if you right click, hold, and drag the note up, then you can also increase the note velocity; dragging down decreases the note velocity.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
