How to implement Ketron SD2 drum patch names is an excellent question. I have no answer but your question has brought more questions to mind.
When looking at the midi instrument names in the mixer display or the patch display how can an observer know what soft synth or sound module instrument patch is displayed?
A user could have one soft synth instrument patch, one or more VSTi instrument patches, Microsoft's GS wavetable or Apple's DLS wavetable and an external sound module in use at different bars of a song. How to handle instrument patch names from such divergent sources?
Last, it appears BiaB can only collect PAT file instrument patch names on higher banks. Look at the screenshot below.
