I just want to say how much I’m enjoying BIAB 2017. So far, everything is working nicely. Back when I gigged regularly with the program on a laptop, I worried about stability issues and having to learn all the features of the program to use in live settings. I’ve changed direction now. I only use BIAB as a tool to create arrangements and import them directly into a recording DAW on a second computer. There, I create WAV files for live use and leave BIAB at home. No need to worry about lyrics, font size, or any of that stuff. In the DAW, one can have a field day with the judicious use of effects to maximize the sound of the files. I suppose Real Band can do a similar thing. I’ve not tried it. The wav files really sound good live, played from a tablet through a stereo PA setup.
