Hey Herb!

You are much too kind ... but we can live with it! Your kindness is appreciated more than you might know. The 6 hours is a grand total for entire project from nothing but an idea to a finished product. Di simply has a natural voice and somehow is able to listen to the music and know where the melody is headed. She plays no instruments (she even gets static on the radio!) and has no vocal training whatsoever. We've done some cut and paste and splicing on some of my instrumental parts but never on any of the vocals. That's not t6o say we always get it satisfactory on the first vocal take, but we keep doing the vocals until they are acceptable for the entire song in one take. one this, she hit everything on the first and only take. And the only adjustment I made to the raw vocal was a little bit of compression and a slight amount of low EQ. We always record with reverb on, rather than dry, but try to not overdo the reverb.

Anyway, thank you again! Your comments made our day! Wishing you the very best,

Alan & Di
