I'm late to the part and everything that I wanted to say has already been said but I couldn't have sait it any better than Janice & Bud said: ..........
Everything -- absolutely everything - about your production sounds superb on our
monitors. The soundstage is lovely and the vocal sits so nicely. And that midi super
track just nails it (we really like those tracks - so much flexibility in the sound).
You certainly picked a great song for your first post this year.

Really nice balance in the story and fits your voice so well. You have a distinct , singing voice, and a narrator quality in your voice, also. Have you ever done talk shows or radio? Curious. Thanks Andy! I've never done anything like narrating or radio. I'm just your every-day ordinary kind of person. BIAB opened the doors to a whole new world for me. A terrific start to a "journey" song, Noel. A good write - with your usual positive message...
Well sung and nicely produced. The piano-only start sounds great. The build is nice. The shaker was a clever idea for verse 2. Nice use of BIAB throughout.

Noel, this sounds really good. Nice pianos. The piano has a mellow acoustic sound that to me is exactly what I like to hear in a piano.
Your vocal sounds good. I thought I was hearing tuning artifacts throughout the vocal track.
Nice job on the composition and writing of the melody and lyrics.

Just loved this song Noel. The piano was very nice. Vocal and lyric was excellent. Super clear mix... Scott, thanks for that. I fiddled with this mix for around a month before posting. The build provides anticipation. The choice of instruments works just so absolutely well. And all the while it is delivered with a really outstanding and interesting set of lyrics.
There was a subtle oriental persuasion within the melody, that I found very appealing.
You obviously went to great lengths to put this together so well. Well done. Thanks Trev. Appreciate your popping in. I'm not sure where the oriental flavour you heard came from. Conga and Shaker are so effective.
The deceptive cadence before ending you often use is so nice as usual.
As Robert said, this is your best vocal performance.

What a great song, an enjoyable journey, I like the positive lyrics, beautiful singing and the interesting chord progression.
Janne Noel, I agree with the above and would add that for me this is your best vocal performance. I`m curious about your reasons for choosing the midi piano - it sounds great - over a Real Track? Robert Hi Robert, Thanks for taking the time. Using a MIDI Supertrack gave me a lot more control over the final sound of the piano. Firstly, when the bass guitar plays, there are often bass-note conflicts between piano and bass. I was able to remove all these low frequency problems by simply cutting the bass note from the piano. Also, the MIDI track allowed me to control the piano pedalling in just the way I wanted. All the best, Noel

With Band-in-a-Box® 2026, we've released 202 incredible new RealTracks (in sets 468-488) in a variety of genres—featuring your most requested styles!
Jazz, Funk & World (Sets 468-475):
Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums! These include more requested “soul jazz” RealTracks featuring artists Neil Swainson (bass), Charles Treadway (organ), Brent Mason (guitar), and Wes Little (drums). There are new “smooth jazz” styles (4), which include a RealTracks first: muted trumpet, as well as slick new smooth jazz brushes options for drums. Blues lovers will be thrilled—there are more “classic acoustic blues” styles, including guitar (5), bass (4), and drums (10) with blues master Colin Linden, featuring understated and tasty background acoustic soloing, plus brushes drums and acoustic bass. There are also new electric blues RealTracks, including electric blues with PG favorite Johnny Hiland (3) and soulful electric slide guitar from Colin Linden (4). Our new country & Americana RealTracks deliver a rich collection of acoustic, electric, and roots-inspired styles! We have new country pop (9) with legendary guitarist Brent Mason. There is also a potpourri (14) of bouzouki, guitars, banjo, and more, perfect for adding texture and character to contemporary acoustic arrangements. We’ve added funky country guitar (5) with PG favorite Brent Mason, along with classic pedal steel styles (5) featuring steel great Doug Jernigan. There are more country songwriter styles (8) that provide intimate, rootsy foundations for storytelling and modern Americana writing. Finally, we have “background soloing” acoustic guitar (12) with Brent Mason — simpler, but still very tasty acoustic lines designed to sit beautifully behind vocals or act as a subtle standalone solo part.
