Yes, pan knobs and volume faders were the only "sound-shaping" tools I ever used before Floyd Jane advised me to start this thread. And, sometimes, when I really committed to working them, working them, and working them some more in a composition, I think I heard some (personally) pleasing results. Actually, deep down, there's a "purist" in me who (used to be) suspicious of all the audio processing tools that DAW's are loaded with. But now, as a result of what I'm learning, I realize that they aren't there to be used indiscriminately, but selectively...and, so, I will! Can you handle another "thank you"?
