hugh2: you should check some of their promo vids or tutorials. Scroll down to the bottom of the home page to see all the vids provided.
From what I gathered, it can pre-setup Orchestras or Guitar pre-sets or other instruments. It looks like it can pre-set Effects, handle Outputs etc etc. All by clicking on a slew of menues (theirs) at the top.
Without clicking on perhaps dozens of Reaper menus, commands, macros, tasks of creating templates. On and on.
I haven't decided yet, but if you use Reaper, OTR seems like a time saver for mundane tasks.
