I suddenly noticed that something wasn't right when I was listening to this chord progression I had inputted into BiaB 2017. Then I noticed the bass had disappeared. I double-checked with the mixer, toggling the solo button -- nope no sound. And of course the volume bar was up. Same as the other instruments. I loaded several different styles, no difference.

Out of desperation, I rebooted BiaB, hoping that might work. Nope. Then I rebooted the computer. Still nope.

I called up a couple of songs I have in a song list and the bass works fine with them. So it has to be something I did -- and with this specific piece of music.

Finally, after rebooting BiaB again, I just let the opening screen run with the style that it loaded on boot-up. So, it just took that C chord and ran with it. And guess what? No bass.

And it's just bass that's gone. Nothing else.

So here I am, racking my brains, wondering what I might have blundered into that shut down the bass. I'm still real new to 2017, and pretty rusty at BiaB in general. It's been more than a few years since the last time I spent any time with it.

I went through all the menu options, trying any that I thought might matter, but no luck.

Again, this isn't any sort of pre-formatted song or anything. It's just a bunch of chords I typed into the program. Nothing special, either. Minor sevenths and major sevenths, mostly.

I'll wager it's something simple I did, but I haven't a clue as to what it might be. So, got any ideas?
