Rule out the obvious first: Check the mixer to be sure the bass track isn't muted? Volume up? Well, as I mentioned above, that was the firsts thing I checked. More subtle: Did you enter a bass track when you typed in the chord progression, and is that what's now missing? If so, then you need to either do it on the bass track AND immediately freeze the track, OR enter it on the Melody or Soloist track (those two are the only tracks not overwritten each time the song is regenerated) and probably mute the bass track. No bass track. I just entered a bunch of chords. I've been cruising through all the styles and listening to what BiaB manages to pull out of its very deep hat to embellish my rather simple chord progression. I haven't felt the need to write a bass line yet. Oh well, as I mentioned in my last post, the bass is back now. And I didn't change a thing. I'll swear, computers and software have gotten so complex now, there really are ghosts in the machine.
