Did you run the installer? Even though it will run from the hard drive, you should still run the installer, as some things need to be on you main drive (Sforzando is one of them, as are the DX effects and fonts (probably a couple of other things, but you get my point).
When you run the installer, you can select that you will run BIAB off the external USB drive; however, it will still install the other components that don't run off the USB drive.

Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe
This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
