This was my approach.

What is required is a held chord on bar 1 and 2, and only a drum fill on bar 2, then the band all comes in on bar 3.

I'm using Bar 1 as the starting place just for this example.

Place an F... on the first bar, nothing on the second bar, the rest of the song on bar 3 onwards. All tracks are unfrozen, and then generate (see 1)

Now, freeze ALL tracks EXCEPT Drums, then place an F..d on bar 2 and generate and play (see 2)
This time, only the drums get generated which places the drum fill at Bar 2.

This works for me. Does this work for you?
