Concerning headphone amps (personal experience)
We use multiple Behringer Powerplay Pro-8 headphone amps and have had zero issues for many years.
Just sayin'
They've been well worth the investment(s). They have many routing options, especially if you have multiple sound card outs to feed it and such.
And they have always 'just worked' as expected.
I can see one of them from here that is 10+ years old and is currently powered 'on' (as usual).
It just keeps on working.
Herb's response made me think about this. I'd be willing to wager that his Behringer headphone amp has some years on it too.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
