Je n'arrive pas à comprendre les différents pack de Real Tracks proposés. En fait, c'est quoi une Real Tracks ? Voilà ce que j'ai compris, qui peux me dire si j'ai juste ou bien si je suis dans l'erreur ? Les styles Reals tracks sont composés de différents instruments : batterie, basse, piano ... Pour chaque style, Biab va chercher ces instruments dans un dossier. Avec ma version 2012, je vois 17 styles Real Tracks mais seulement 3 fonctionnent. J'ai souvent un message dans la boite jaune en haut à droite, me disant que tel instrument n'a pas été trouvé. Et cet instrument de joue pas. Comment vérifier si c'est une mauvaise installation de ma part ?
Pour le moment, je suis dans le vrai ?
Je souhaite accompagner une chanteuse avec ma guitare, dans un style jazz, bossa, en utilisant des accompagnements "light", juste batterie et basse. Un soupçon de piano ou de cordes, mais pas toujours. En plus, j'aimerai pouvoir changer l'accompagnement au cours du morceau. par exemple, 1er thème sans piano, 2ième thème avec ...
J'en arrive donc à ma question: Où trouver les instruments qui me manquent ? J'ai vu les différents packs proposés. Ils contiennent un certains nombre de real tracks. Les instruments font-ils partie des packs, ou bien il n'y a que les styles ? Je ne voudrais pas me retrouver avec les mêmes messages d'instruments introuvables.
Pg music propose des mises à jour. par exemple, la version pro propose 200 reals tracks et 38 bandes. Qu'est-ce que ça veut dire ? J'aurai 200 instruments ? et 38 styles ? J'ai essayé les démos, mais j'ai vu seulement 6 ou 7 styles qui m'intéressent. existe-t-il d'autres packs plus orientés jazz ?
Dans le mega pack, plus cher, on donne 460 real tracks et 60 bandes. C'est bien 460 instruments ? Avec donc plus de styles que le pack moins cher, ce qui est normal. Je vois sur la démo les mêmes titres "slow jazz", avec 2 instruments en plus, dont je ne me servirai pas (guitare, j'en joue en vrai).
Faut-il que je me tourne vers les pack spécifiques real tracks ? J'ai par exemple le Jazz real pack 12 , avec 71 real tracks et set 236-244. C'est quoi les set 236 - 244 ?

Beaucoup de questions en effet. Concernant le concept de Realtracks, je te recommande de lire dans le manuel le chapitre sur les Realtracks. Une Realtrack c'est une piste d'accompagnement ou de solo pour un style donné ET pour un instrument donné. par ex. Realtrack de Dixieland joué sur un banjo, ou un Solo de guitare électrique dans le style Texas Blues.
Tu as BIAB 2012. Avais-tu la version 2011 avant ou est-ce ton premier achat ? L'upgrade de la version 2011 vers 2012 a ajouté 101 nouvelles RealTracks dans les domaines du Jazz, Pop et Country.

Merci de ta réponse John-Luke J'ai acheté un cd rom avec Biab 2012. J'ai suivi le setup. J'ai trouvé un dossier RealTracks dans le dossier bb. Il y a une quarantaine de sous dossiers avec des noms comme Bass, acoustic, jazzSw110, ou jazz Sw140. Le nombre désigne le tempo je pense. A l'intérieur, des fichiers wma. Idem pour la guitare, le piano ou le sax. Mon problème, c'est que j'ai souvent des messages d'erreur, le style Realtracks ne trouve pas les instruments. Ai-je mal installé le logiciel ?
A priori les RealTracks semblent mal installées. Pour que cela fonctionne, il faut que chaque Realtrack soit associée à des fichiers de type st2 ou stx qui se trouvent dans le répertoire de BIAB. Le mieux est de réinstaller toutes les RealTracks.
Si les Realtracks sont installées dans un répertoire autre, ou sur un autre disque, il faut le spécifier dans les Préférences des Realtracks.
J'ai passé du temps à regarder tous les packs et écouter les démos. J'ai compris le principe des reals tracks, dans les grandes lignes. Je vais m'atteler à aller plus dans les détails.
J'ai acheté le pack jazz vol 1. Ce qui m'intéresse, c'est d'avoir une basse et une batterie. Il faut donc avoir le Real drum, et le real track qui correspond. J'espère que tout fonctionnera une fois téléchargé. Rv
Les RealTracks sont des pistes d'accompagnement, elles vont donc servir à accompagner ton instrument, ta chanteuse ..... Ce sont en quelque sorte, des play-along, des backing tracks mais qui font beaucoup mieux car tu peux en modifier la grille, les instruments, la tonalité, le tempo, le style,.... le tout, avec réalisme..... Je t'invite à aller sur le site PG music tu trouveras là tous les styles disponibles parmi lesquels, je suis sûr, celui que tu recherches.
Effectivement, j'ai compris le fonctionnement des reals tracks, en regardant les vidéos de démo sur le site. Ça fait longtemps que j'utilise Biab et les reals tracks ont un meilleur son. Par contre, je n'utilise pas les sons de trompette, de sax, ou de guitare, seulement basse et batterie. J'ai donc acheté un pack jazz et j'en suis content. Installé sans problème et j'ai pleins de nouveaux styles.
