I would have sworn I've seen a post in the RB forum about using EZDrummer, now can't find it.

I'm a BIAB newbie and an even newbier newbie at RB - at the moment I've been creating rough demos in BIAB, playing around with arrangement and styles, then dumping everything in to Reaper for editing, fx etc.

But I've read numerous posts saying that RB is a powerful DAW-esque program (albeit with a few warts), so I've been trying it out the last couple of days, and it'd be great if I could get closer to the sound I'm aiming for before moving everything into my DAW.

I'm able to add Amplitube 4 and some other plugins, for example to the bass and guitar tracks. But I'm unable to add either Ezdrummer or EastWest's Play (both of which of course work fine standalone or in Reaper). I've read the help file etc and haven't quite been able to pinpoint where the problem might be.

'Re-Route MIDI playback to default DXi/VSTi synth' is *not* checked.
I have RB 2017, build 4 with jbridge, and I'm on 64-bit Windows 10.

I can double-click an RB track or hit the little arrow at the left and then click Edit VST/DX'
At the next screen I hit "Open VST/DX Plugins Configuration", which pulls up the DirectX/VST Window for, say, the Drums track.
Say it's Track 10. The top Plugin window will say None. Click on the top pulldown, scroll down to Add VST, then go to the folder holding EZdrummer.dll.

Selecting EZdrummer.dll, however, does nothing. After a second or two the DirectX/VST Window is as it was - top plugin window still says None.

I've noticed this for EZDrummer and EastWest Play so far,

Thank you in advance!
