In my mind one of the best players ever was/is Joe Walsh. His solos always said something relevant to the song.
And what is the ONE thing Joe isn't?
A speed burner.

Joe is one of the best around today. He can play with anybody and fit right in with the perfect leads. Indeed. If you haven't already heard his solo in the song Long Road Out of Eden..... Oh...My.... Goodness! Go buy the album and listen. Soak in it.
