There is no difference between chord dim and dim7, actually there is no diminished chord without 7th..for example if built on B diminished chord should have a B, an D and a F (it should be without 7th) if I try with symbol Bmb5 or Bm5b BIB show it as invalid:-( … on the other side major chord C5b is valid!!?
