Wenn I load a song named "_CACTUS" from the Extra pack1 (Aug. 2016) the RT 2055
(Guitar, fingerpicking country waltz) is not working...
I have checked that this instrument came with RTs 187 and I installed it again from my reserve: same behaviour.
If I now load an other song and try to add RT 2055, what I get is RT 2053, from the same set, instead.
Can somebody check whether the same applies to all users?

I just loaded _CACTUS and all worked fine for me.
For what it's worth. I recently had unusual behaviour and then I rebuilt my styles list. Then, when I tried the program after this, it worked fine.
While I cannot see how rebuilding styles will affect loading a Realtrack manually, maybe it's worth trying.

Eeerr, I did not mean the song was not working! it does... It is just that the instrument (RT 2055) is not playing correctly within the song...
Have you singled it (RT 2055) out, pressing the solo button in the mixer?

Yes I gave it a thorough run through. Everything in the style worked for me. I loaded the default demo song and generated it.

I'm in the same situation as you.
When I load the demo song for _CACTUS.STY, the guitar part RT2055 don't play, except during the fill bars of A section.
But, when I import the RT2055 in a user style for example, it works fine.

Mine plays OK, except the "Play using current chord sheet" option regularly gives a very different arrangement than if I generate and play. I'm guessing it gives a 'simple' arrangement from within the StylePicker.

Bernard, you can do this, it worked fine for me :
In the stylemaker, click on Misc, then More.
By default, 'Use Simple Version is ticked'. Untick it and the save style.
That did the trick.

Thank you for the information. That's not something that I was aware of. It's great that it's possible to force a Realtrack to select the simple version by setting it in a style.

Actually I discovered that the "simple version" was unticked, but just because the bass was set as the instrument on opening the Stylemaker..
Changing it to the guitar 2055 and then unticking made it.
The guitar is really nice within the song.
