Thern, on subsequent listen, we hear this sing that is indeed finished but passed on the whistles and bells because the indigenous qualities were all that was needed.You always manage to sat the most with the least amount of whistles anb bells. Why add in a bunch of useless stuff and ruin a perfectly good song? I'm really trying to boil it down to 4 instrumental tracks now, and only add other tracks if I really, really need them and they don't get in the way of the vocals. I read an interview with John Mayer sometime back and he was talking about how vocals are "devilish" and the "hardest part." He says he can play the guitar in his sleep but he has to work hard on the vocals. I can't remember the exact phrasing but he said something to the effect that you have to relax and not "try too hard" but that was a lot harder than it seems. I think he nailed it. It is hard. But thanks for the kind words!!! Band-in-a-Box 2026 Video: AI Stems & Notes - split polyphonic audio into instruments and transcribe

This video demonstrates how to use the new AI-Notes feature together with the AI-Stems splitter, allowing you to select an audio file and have it separated into individual stems while transcribing each one to its own MIDI track. AI-Notes converts polyphonic audio—either full mixes or individual instruments—into MIDI that you can view in notation or play back instantly.
