The melodies of the guitar at Intro., Interlude and ending are very catchy.
And the chord progression there (C-Am-F-G7) is the royal road of the pops.
The straight lyrics are very favorable.
The chord progression at "I've got you", C to E7 is very nice.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Hey guys, as floyd mentioned that is indeed a clever write - not over intellectualized (is that a word  ) just genuinely clever and very accessible. The vocals are nicely performed and mixed. As always your guitar is not "just there" but, rather, the solo is expressive and the fills do their thing. And then there is the upbeat message that is square in Janice's wheelhouse. She read the lyric before we listened the other day and said "yeah....I like that!" We both do....the whole package. J&B Janice and Bud Thanks for the support and kind words. Peter

Good song, enjoyed the lyrics and vocals!
Great job on the guitar also, loved the solo. I thought the volume could have come up a little during the fills, but didn't take away from the enjoyment.
Nice looking Les Paul BTW!
