I have BAIB 2016 Everything installed on a Windows 7 PC. I did not want to upgrade to Windows 10. I am considering purchasing Parallels 11 for my MAC and bringing BAIB over so I can have all my music software in one place. Is anyone using Parallels 11 and Windows 7, and if you are, did you have any problems with the installation and how does it work? Somewhat of a hassle having things on two different machines. Besides, I have latency problems on the PC that I don't have on the MAC. Hopefully the change will get rid of that problem. Looking forward to any help I can get. Many Thanks......

I have run BIAB in Parallels with windows XP and Windows 7 on Parallels (including Parallels 11, even though I'm now at version 12) for many years without problems. I have no external devices, though (no external midi or USB devices which must work with BIAB), and only for playback purposes (i.e. not using RealBand or recorded any midi or audio in BIAB).
Last year I switched to the MAC version, but that was just because I was fed up with Windows Update, and the Mac version is nowadays (almost) equal in terms of functionality.

Thanks for the feed back and the references to other posts. Some good info there. I'm just fed up with working on two machines where there is a solution to theat problem. Thanks again for the good info and the quick response.

Thanks for the info Bjorn. I think the upside to making the change out weighs the possible problems. I think I'll give it a try. I appreciate the quick response.
