I am making some back tracks for a couple of Irish polkas ... I can't find something that has that feel in the reel tracks. I can make some that are playable but not ... polkas. The Celtic reel is too frantic sounding when sped up. Any suggestions? I don't have anything that has a 2/4 feel.
Usually around 130 - 140. The Celtic reel at that speed is much too frantic, I need a 2/4 feel and can't find in a RT. I searched all RT and didn't find anything listed as having that feel except the Tex/Mex. V

Maybe you could try one of the above with a different Bass, e.g. 1162 or 761 that might give it a 2 beat feel

Excellent idea Noel, I hadn't thought of that. If the problem is with the normal tempo being 'too busy', then this could be the ideal answer.
