Well
through help off a few .Matt,larry,rharv,jazzmammal.
I did manage to learn how to make a pat file and an ins file .
Though it looks like the jv1080 either has to be in performance mode for to get the higher instruments as in general midi mode it does not access them.
Problem in performance mode the gm instruments play all weird.
Am I wasting my time trying to access the higher instruments in gm mode .
Any help greatly appreciated.
