Hi,
I'd love to see a version of BIAB for the iPhone. I'm aware of the limitation due to the platform limited resources but I think a light version of BIAB, with only the strict necessary could be used as the "most mobile" of practice tools.

First, I'm not sure wether the iPhone's CPU power is sufficient for BIAB. Second, I'm pretty sure that BIAB needs a complete GUI redesign to get accepted in the app store! ;-)

Well if BIAB on the iPhone is too much, how about an iPhone fake book that can port in BIAB tunes? There is a very usable fake book app for the iPhone here: http://irealbook.net/iReal_Book/Home/Home.htmlVery useful for those of us who perform live with real instruments and no machines.

Just a BiaB PLAYER would be cool for iPhone. You could import MGUs and have minimal control over playback at a rehearsal. Plug the iPhone into Channel 2 on the guitar amp and you're good to go! No more lugging the old laptop to the drummer's house. It's a thought.

I just looked at the iREAL BOOK app ... editable chords, transposable, downloadable ... you can see where it's going. PG needs to get something out there, stat, or my name isn't John Birks Gillespie. There are many more BiaB charts available right now, but these guys will catch up. At $1 a pop, an editable viewer like that should easily pay for itself (in development cost) in a few months or less.

Yeah, an iPhone player would be sweet. Or my preference an Android player. Of course, you could just render an mp3 to make a song portable.
