This is a long time BIAB quirk. First of all, make sure you disable the 2-bar endings and make sure the last bar of your song extends to the end of the sustained bars. Then a couple of bars after you entered the G... on the second beat, enter a different chord with a rest (a single dot). For example, "G7." or "D.".
See if that does it for you. Thanks John! OK, I'd not tried the disable 2 bar endings. Sucker's hard to find!! That solved it, and I actually should have put the last held chord on the 3rd beat. All working right now. Knew it had to be simple.
