Noel96 Veteran Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 19,831 Australia	Shigeki Adachi, This song doesn't simply travel along as a journey in music, it soars! There is no doubt about it, you are a powerhouse composer and arranger. Trevor (Videotrack) used the word "marvelous" in describing this and your talent and I wholeheartedly agree. Yoko Kawajiri's singing is stunning. I really like the way she presents those upwards resolving suspensions. It's been a while since I've noticed hearing such a melodic device in a song and it had a really captivating sound to my ears. floyd mentioned female 60s vocalists when talking about Yoko Kawajiri's performance. I agree, too. There is definitely a very mainstream sound in Yoko's voice and, like floyd, it reminded me of Petula Clark. Is Yoko Kawajiri a well known singer in Japan?
