"Is it possible to edit the notes of a real track?" You can use RiffStation's Riff Builder by dragging a RealTrack into it. https://pro.riffstation.com/features_page/https://riffstation.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/208243765-What-is-Riff-Builder-and-how-do-I-use-it-If most tracks have been mapped to RealChart notation it should be able to create up the note based generation rather than just chord based generation. I think it needs something like MultiRiffs but MultiNotes where it generates up some different variations from the midi /notes you enter to RealTrack notes. Just like you can use a short note in a sampler by looping the end of the note to sustain and decay it. Especially now there are 12-Key RealTracks being released, that's an enormous amount of variations.
