This is really beautiful!!!! Great job all the way around. I think they should have given you a lot more money on this one!!!!!!  Thanks a bunch, David! No argument with the money comment! But it was money we didn't have before. Glad you liked it. I did the vocal immediately after recovering from laryngitis. The first couple of lines were kind of shaky but got a little better thereafter. We rarely write with a 6-line verse and chorus, especially with an AB-AB-AB rhyming pattern. But this lyric kind of wrote itself. We just did a lot of tweaking after the initial write. Thanks again! Alan & Di

Kenny Ha! We'll go along with the recount vote. We thought the winning song was a little "hoaky". But it caught the judges' ears and it was their contest. Nonetheless, we were pleased with 2nd place from over 600 entries. First place winnings were $500.00 and a gift certificate, in an amount we don't remember, to Guitar Center.
