I tried connecting my drum machine to RB and BIAB this weekend and found that some of the sounds (both drums and bass) are useful with RB and BIAB and many of the drum patterns make a nice extension to existing RTs and midi styles. Getting the DR 880 to play the sounds triggered by RB was pretty straight forward - it worked with both USB and Midi connections. Getting the RD880 to sync up with start and stop functionality however was a real challenge. I finally got it to sync on one existing sequence. Strangely enough I could not get it to work on any other songs. I tried to look at song settings and could not find any diferrences between the tune that worked and didn't work. I have tried many combinations of settings. Any ideas - I assume the majority of setting don't change from one file to next?
