I bought Kontakt 5 a while back and have been unable to download the 40Gb library for it, since I have a limit of 800 Mb a day, and even in the Internet cafe here, it will take days to download it... So I was wondering, if someone here, with a fast internet connection and a unlimited download subscription, could be willing to do it for me? I can just give my password to log into my account, and just send a 40Gb USB stick or harddrive to copy it to and send it back to me.. I am willing to pay for anyone that can do it for me...

Be very careful with this, you could end up giving someone a free copy of Kontact! You've just advertised to the world!!!
Why not ask Kontact Support to do this for you? There would be a charge for sure but the peace of mind would be worth it. I suspect that they must have had the same problem from other users.

Be very careful with this, you could end up giving someone a free copy of Kontact! You've just advertised to the world!!!
Why not ask Kontact Support to do this for you? There would be a charge for sure but the peace of mind would be worth it. I suspect that they must have had the same problem from other users.

Noel Agreed. Very likely this is not allowed by Native Instruments in the first place. I also agree. The boxed version of Kontakt costs the same as the DL version. Contact Kontakt (is that a play on words?) and tell them your situation and maybe they can send you the boxed version.

Thank's guys, was not thinking of that....
From what I remember when I order it, they said they no longer deliver boxed versions of Kontakt, but I will give it a try and see what they answer...

You guy's are far to cynical. Rest assured there are folks here on the forum who are honest and ethical and more then willing to help by taking a bit of time to download the content put it on an old empty BIAB HD and send it off to the OP. Nothing sinister in mind.

I have a feeling that if you explain your situation they will accommodate you in any way they can, possibly burning it to DVDs or sending you a 64gb flash drive. Businesses want to make sales. It would be a bad move if they would pass on a sale because nobody there will put 10 minutes effort into helping a customer.
They may need customer support lessons from PG Music. These guys go MANY extra miles for us.

Trygve--had you been in the US I would do it for you in a heartbeat. I've always known you to be an honest person and look to help where I can.
It seems unlikely to me that someone would go to the lengths of belonging to this forum for YEARS, posting almost 4.000 posts to come to this point of finally being able to implement his masterplan. LOL
Here's to hoping the company will do what they can to accommodate you.

Nothing sinister in mind. I guess you can call us cynical. OP has his location as the Philippines. NI has customers around the world and should generally have the means to send boxed versions pretty much anywhere, easier than forum members. I have had mostly pleasant interactions with music software companies large and small. My optimism is that NI will do right by Trygve, not requiring any forum members to break any laws which is what they would likely be doing should physical copies of software were sent where only one of the parties has a license to use the software.

Because, that's what have hold me back from asking for it...
